My name is Hamzah Skaik, and I'm proud to be one of the owners of Pursuit Roofing and Construction. From the very beginning, my vision for this company has been clear: to build something that stands apart in an industry that doesn't always have the best reputation. Every single day, I wake up driven by the goal of creating a business founded on care, integrity, and professionalism—values that I believe should be non-negotiable, not the exception.
What motivates me most is knowing that when a homeowner invites us onto their property, they're placing their trust in us. That's not something I take lightly. Whether it's a roof replacement after a storm, a remodel that transforms a family's living space, or any project in between, I want every customer to feel confident that they're working with people who genuinely care about doing the job right. Not cutting corners. Not overselling. Just honest work and clear communication from start to finish.
Building Pursuit Roofing and Construction has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life. There's something incredibly fulfilling about watching a company grow—not just in revenue, but in reputation and relationships. I love the challenge of improving our processes, expanding our services, and finding new ways to serve our community better. For me, success isn't just about the bottom line; it's about building something that my team, my partners, and I can be genuinely proud of for years to come.
Outside of work, I have a wide range of passions that keep me balanced and energized. I'm deeply interested in software development and love working on projects that challenge me to think creatively and solve problems in new ways. Fitness is also a big part of my life—I'm dedicated to strength training and spend a lot of time at the gym pushing myself to improve. When I want to mix things up, you'll often find me on the pickleball court, enjoying some friendly competition.
Of course, life isn't all work and workouts. I'm lucky to have two amazing dogs, Cleo and Scar, who never fail to brighten my day. Spending quality time with friends and family is something I truly cherish, whether that means a backyard barbecue, a weekend trip, or exploring somewhere entirely new. Traveling is one of my favorite ways to recharge—there's nothing like experiencing new places, cultures, and perspectives to remind you what life is all about.

My name is Evan Waugh, and for as long as I can remember, I've had an entrepreneurial spirit and an unwavering drive to build something of my own. Even as a kid, I was always looking for ways to create, hustle, and turn ideas into reality. That mindset eventually led me into the world of roofing sales, where I spent years learning the ins and outs of the business—the good, the bad, and everything in between.
What I discovered during those years shaped the way I approach business today. I saw firsthand how the construction and roofing industry often operates: pushy sales tactics, vague promises, and a general lack of transparency that leaves homeowners feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I knew there had to be a better way. That's exactly why I'm so proud to be one of the owners of Pursuit Roofing and Construction. When I'm not focused on the business, I make it a priority to stay active and enjoy life outside of work. Fitness is a big part of my routine—I love hitting the gym and challenging myself physically. I'm also an avid outdoorsman, and some of my favorite memories have been made on fishing trips and hunting excursions. There's something about being out in nature that helps me clear my mind and recharge.
Traveling is another passion of mine. Whether it's a quick road trip or an adventure somewhere far from home, I love exploring new places and experiencing everything the world has to offer. But at the end of the day, nothing beats spending time with family. They're my foundation, my support system, and the reason I work as hard as I do.
